The small French village of Audun, where the Boch family first established their pottery, is the inspiration for this pastoral dinnerware pattern. In fact, Villeroy & Boch introduced the Audun collection to commemorate the company's 250th anniversary. Depicting a rural scene in black and white with a touch of yellow, the six fine china 10-ounce mugs in this set mix and match with the three other Audun patterns.
Each mug displays period figures based on copper engravings from the turn of the last century. Edging the rim is a classical black-and-white interlock design with a thin band of yellow. Dressy enough to keep only for formal gatherings, Audun Chasse also makes everyday dining a fine occasion. Imported from Luxembourg and Germany, the mugs are vitrified for durability and are safe for dishwasher and microwave.
